This is an excellent opportunity to acquire or to improve your knowledge of photography and to ask your questions!
Jean-Francois O’Kane is head of ODCPhoto.com, TheStudioCoach.com and ProductionVidéoSantéSécurité.com. Established in Pointe-aux-Trembles in 1996, the small company grew over the years. From a vast photography expertise, Jean-Francois O’Kane distinguished himself as a popularizer and teacher, broadening his lighting, video and staging techniques in order to provide complete services and capturing the industrial, design, artistic, personal and commercial images that best represent his clients. To his studio, aerial and news style photography merged with videography and corporate video montage. Originally done on film, the technic is now entirely digitalized. Perfecting industrial photography for multiple Montreal based clients, the injury prevention and work environment safety videos became part of the company offerings with the addition of a videographer specialized in in video montage, and many freelance writers and voiceover recorders. Jean-Francois O’Kane is also an excellent trainer by sharing his passions and knowledge. As “The Studio Coach”, he developed a series of photography training videos and travels the world to deliver seminars. Jean-Francois O’Kane, who is also a trusted branded photography equipment tester, created and commercialized photography lighting calibration tools (colorbalancecoach.com) sold around the globe.
Francois DesRosiers jumped into photography and has been immersed in it since the mid 80’s. His passion of people brought him to portraiture, glamour and artistic nudes. His own particular interaction with his subjects gives his photography a unique evolving style. Principally in black and white, his photography ventures sometime in the realm of colors.
Lately, he has been experimenting with infrared digital photography in portraiture and landscapes making him an expert in the subject.
Self-taught, Francois DesRosiers is constantly looking for new experiences, whether by using various cameras, accessories or software, to take him further in is creative process. Working at L.L. Lozeau since 1987, he is now dedicated to the training center and gallery as Service Plus Director and speaker. He held over 15 solo and group exhibits.
